Back in the Swing of Things

Wow, I didn’t realize how long it had been since I posted. I apologize. I’m in the middle of a huge project and time got away from me.

If you’re like a lot of job seekers, you didn’t feel like hunting around for a job or work on your resume during the Holidays. Well, I’m here to officially get you back on track with your job search.

Now that the new year has begun, it’s time to take an assessment of where you want to be this time next year. If “at a new job” is at the top of your list, then you need to take this time to ensure that it will happen.

Start anew. Start fresh. Stop doing what’s not working. If you’ve been searching for a job for a year with no success, then you have to take a fresh approach and figure out what you can improve on.

Think of this as the year you’re going to find your dream job. Kind of corny, maybe, but it can happen. Persistence and a positive attitude can help immensely. Keep your eye on your goal and don’t get sidetracked.

You can’t be a passive job seeker. If you want a new job, go and get it.
