What Are Your Goals?

The New Year is when people really stop and take stock of their lives. They tend to make goals for their future. Have you done that?

See, one of the problems about job hunting is that it can get b-o-r-i-n-g. That’s why you have to take the energy and excitement of the new year and make it work for you.

Write down your goals for the coming year. Yes, write them down. You are more likely to achieve them if you actually write them down. Read them every day or every week. This, of course, can include much more than your career aspirations. This can be personal and professional. In fact, it should be.

Once you figure out your goals, you can make priorities. You’ll find that many of your goals can overlap. If one goal is achieved, so is another one. Two birds, on stone ;-)

One thing to keep in mind is to make these goals obtainable. Don’t set yourself up to fail.

This is YOUR year to shine. Take full advantage of it.
